ABOUT | CATHERINE

Catherine Maitland is a 25 year old professional actor based in London with connections to Norwich, Norfolk. Catherine trained in Acting and Performance (BA Hons) at the University for the Creative arts, where she discovered a love for screen acting.

 

One of the founding members of Jugs Productions, a female lead theatre company creating and performing uniquely chaotic productions revolving around womanhood. Catherine is playing Abby in their debut play 6FT and Under, which has already sold out its run at the Camden Fringe, and will be returning to stage soon. 

 

Catherine has been credited on IMdB for her work in short films 'Blacks or Whites' 'Luna' and 'What a Circus' which aired on Female Filmmakers: BBC Introducing Arts on BBC 4.​​

 

 

Catherine has been featured in radio play ‘A Line Of Poetry’ by John Fryer which has been broadcast across local and hospital radio stations. 

​

She has also written, directed, and performed her first play 'Though Loved Ones Be Lost', a verbatim play which she hopes to work on in greater detail in the future.
